Day 7 - Practical Positivity

Happiness is a choice.....

Being happy and practicing positivity is being mindful. Being mindful is being present. Being present is tough work (in the beginning)!

I'm sure we can all agree that being positive all the time is not truly possible. In fact, we need a little of that negative stuff to remind us of how beautiful our lives really are or can be.
The key to choosing happiness when we are feeling "bad" or negative about something is to acknowledge the negative thought or action, respect the feelings we are having and move along. Find something, anything, to be grateful about.

It's really about a change in perspective. It can be life changing to practice and teach ourselves to change our perspectives. It's up to you to choose. You are the one in control of your happiness level...no one or nothing can take that away from you!
